2018 Subaru Impreza

This year gets just a few new tweaks and upgrades after last year's full redesign. They include standard automatic wipers at the Premium level and above. The Subaru Impreza continues to stand above its competitors by its superior build quality, handling and performance, and being the only vehicle in the class that offers all-wheel drive.

Trim Options and Technology

The new 2018 Subaru Impreza comes either as a sedan or a hatchback, with the latter featuring superb cargo space. It also comes in four trim levels, the base 2.0i trim, the Premium, Sport, and top of the line Limited trim levels. Each is driven by a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine with a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission.

At the base entry level you get remote locking and unlocking, rearview camera, driver information display, cruise control, and an infotainment system that comes with full smartphone app integration in the form of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as well as four speakers and a USB port, and is driven by a 6.5-inch touchscreen.

At higher levels you get additional features like sound dampening, heated mirrors, front seats and windshield wipers, upgraded audio, and the Subaru EyeSight safety suite. This technology has consistently won the manufacturer Top Safety Pick ratings from the IIHS for its innovative integration of common safety features to form a second set of eyes and an extra brain to keep you safe on the roads.
