For fuel delivery, this vehicle is equipped with Multi-Point Fuel Injection. This system injects fuel from each cylinder into the intake port, which then works its way towards the combustion chamber. This system doesn't reduce as much fuel waste as the GDI, because the fuel isn't going directly into the combustion chamber.

This vehicle is outfitted with front wheel drive. Although FWD can be effective, it's not as reliable as the AWD in the Subaru Impreza. The 2017 Subaru Impreza has the advantage in this category, due to its higher horsepower, its drivetrain and its fuel delivery system.
