Arctic Island

Since 1948, the Arctic Island has been serving sweet treats to the south side of Syracuse. This family owned, and operated spot has become a staple of the community.

With both soft serve and home-made ice cream that's made right on the premises, you'll find classics like mint chip and cookies and cream, plus creative combinations like maple walnut, Kahlua almond chip, and peanut butter espresso Oreo.

If someone in your party wants a brownie or apple strudel instead, just walk a few steps over to the adjoining Broadway Café. This deli and coffee shop has been serving pastries, wraps, and breakfast under the same management since 2005.
