The Crosstrek features the 2.0L 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine that's mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with the option to swap it out for the Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
This engine lies flat under the hood and gets its power from the horizontally opposed valves, which, in turn, help power the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
The engine boasts 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. It's also able to achieve an EPA-estimated 28 city/33 highway MPG.* Thanks to those numbers, you can rely on your Crosstrek to deliver the perfect balance of potent performance and environmentally minded efficiency.
